WOW!DAMN! WOW!
Really enjoyed this – you can tell that they grew up together learning these crazy moves! On a closer viewing (and I have watched it rather a lot!) you can see that she is a little out of practice (coming out of the splits for example), but their relationship and professional attitude sells it. It is so good to see Derek really dancing with someone who can match his talent and watch him really let loose. I think a lot of people would pay to see them dance together – I really hope that somehow he gets something which really showcases his talent. Am really impressed that he managed to choreograph this alongside the challenge of Psycho! Am also really glad that he gave the audience what they wanted and went through with the performance despite the injury – just hope it doesn’t come back to bite them later in the season.
Hey Derek fans did you read the comment Carson Kressley made? He said, “Would someone please dip me in a little bit of that DNA? I really want to be submerged in some Houghness and come out doing leaping splits”. So funny. Both Derek and Julianne are AMAZING!!
OK let me get this straight please someone correct me if I am wrong – Derek injured his shoulder, they haven’t had time to rehearse this dance and they came out with a performance like that – Well what the hell can I say!
So brilliant – what an amazing dance and you would never know he was injured from just watching that! Thank you so much for posting it so quickly – couldn’t find it anywhere on youtube and was really panicked for Derek when I heard he’d been injured. So glad they got another chance to dance together – they are dynamite. Still voting for dad, but think that was probably better!
So Derek and Jules barely practice this dance AND Derek is dancing injured…. they still pull off the most exciting dance of the show?!?!?! These two are just such talented and beautiful people! I loved seeing them dance together, but I was so worried for Derek at first. I’m glad to hear that he’s going to be fine and hope he lets his shoulder rest a little bit in the next few days. I think Jules and Derek need to be in a movie together and there needs to be some dancing with it, even if it’s just a little!

Beautiful comment Grace! It was truly amazing to see them performing together again. It was a very high energy performance and Derek performed it like a champ. He definitely pushed through his injury. God Bless him. He’s such a sweetheart. All this for the fans/viewers!! I just love him to pieces. So nice to see Julianne again too!!
Wow!!How did he manage to do that high standard of dance and be injured??? AMAZING!!!Love him more ever time I see him perform. He really is a national treasure and we need to enjoy this once in a lifetime entertainer. Thank you Derek and Julianne for a wonderful performance.
