First of all….God, i really really missed seeing Derek dance….this man…never stops amazing me…every time he dances….my dreams come true. I said it before, I’ll say it again…until the end of time (or until everyone agrees with me
) when he dances, this man is poetry in motion! that being said…i loved their performance, i think they deserved higher scores – at least 7 from Len…i know, lack of body contact…first week…but that was true for JR and Karina too…and they did get better scores. I loved their chemistry on the floor and Ricki’s reaction to Derek’s forehead kiss. I also loved the fact that she said she was a fan

Please forgive Len as he had just flew in from London after judging our Strictly Come Dancing which is DWTS’s “poor relation” the host on our programme makes Len look like a teenager, he must be at least 900 years old LOL

It’ so good to have Derek back!! The show just was not the same without him. DWTS is complete again now. Between his hair and seeing him choreograph again (so refreshing because it’s always unique for every partner. I loved the twirls and intertwining), I don’t know which I was more excited about. Anyway, just beautiful.
SO GLAD Derek is back!!!! Such a treat to watch his incomparable finesse and fluidity, plus I love the gelled hair parted on the side: very sexy. Derek & Ricki were pure poetry on the dance floor. Very elegant, fluid,and emotionally connected, and Derek is so kind and supportive to Ricki. They were underscored, for sure. They are a sweet team, lovely to watch. I voted my brains out!

I’m so glad that I don’t read those boards. I think I would of lost it if they were bashing Derek. I know we are all just thrilled to have THE BEST PRO DANCER back on stage!!! I thought he and Ricki did a fabulous job for their first dance. The connection was there, she melted into him at the very beginning of the dance after he kissed her head. The dance was beautiful. I too think Len was smoking crack. Ricki’s footwork was good, maybe he was commenting on the very end when the music wasn’t quite done and she lifted both her feet up when Derek held her…don’t know. Did you see how Ricki thanked Derek when the dance ended??? So sweet.
I just cracked up when Derek described himself “Its return of the Hough. Who’s go 3 mirror balls and 2 thumbs? This Guy” LOL
Such a goof ball! Love it!!! I hope Derek reads these comments so he knows how happy we are that he is back dancing. You’ve been missed terribly Sweetpea! My description of Derek has expanded to……Deliciously Yummy!
The DWTS board is a load of crap, they hate Derek cause he is SO SO good end of story & the best teacher by far!
Seeing Derek back on that beautiful new DWTS set dancing the VW with Ricki was so wonderful to me. Their whole time on air was only 5 min, but I wanted MORE!LOL! I thought they danced a great, albeit safe VW/first dance. I think I know why Len gave them a 6 because they had a lack of body contact in their bottom halves most of the time. Strange that he didn’t mention it, but he mentioned something about her feet which I couldn’t see. I thought Ricki’s frame with her arms and shoulders was great. The emotion was great. She didn’t seem nervous and I thought that Derek and her had the most romantic feeling VW. Ladies, the DWTS board seems to hate Derek or something. I left the board several years ago because it’s so hateful and I know a lot of Derek fans left also. They are all just jealous of his success on behalf of their favorite pro. And Dial Idol is not an accurate reflection of the vote because it does not take into account the online votes. There is no way that Derek and Ricki are going home first!
Loved, loved this dance. Why people hate on Derek is something I will never understand. One person on the ABC board said he did the same dance with Jennifer.
It was the V. waltz but not the same routine. So glad to have Derek back. I am worried the dial a idol score doesn’t look as good as I had hoped. I was in a car wreck yesterday and was looking at the clock in the emergency room…thinking am I going to get out of here in time to vote for Derek. I DID!!

I responded directly to that person too! That and along with the comments in the other Derek and Ricki’s thread set me off. Anyway, I’m just gonna go there to vote only and skip the entire board going forward. They pissed me off to much.

Elmair I have basically just logged on there and I am so surprise that there are so many dick heads on there, all I can say on that subject is please forgive them as they have not worked out that GREEN IS NOT A NICE COLOUR!.
As for sex on legs and Ricki I was watching it today on youtube, it was sooooo nice to see him dance again, I felt like a proud lover, is it me or does Derek look sexier every time you see him?

Go Ricki and Derek! They were great last night. Underscored by least a point. Not sure what Len was smoking. I thought they were better than Hope and Maks. I am happy that Derek is back. Looking forward to see them do a Latin # next week. Got to get back to voting for our team.
They were great last night. I’m so happy see Derek back. I got so fed up with trash talk about Derek on ABC board last night, I sort of gave them a piece of my mind but my post quickly disappeared to the bottom of the list.
