ANYWAY, Alexa sent me this video that has Derek and Jennifer at the very end – I don’t recall seeing it or posting it before, although my memory sucks.

Wishing everyone here at PDH a Happy (and safe) New Year for tonight!! Wishing Derek and Cheryl a HNY, as well, and hoping one of their new year’s resolutions is to at least admit that they are a couple. Don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon, but wouldn’t that be nice. . .LOL!
Someone just tweeted that Cheryl was in South Africa. She took a picture with a fan the bumped in to her strolling down the street on holiday. I’m guessing Derek is with her. Before Christmas there were a few articles about Cheryl wanting to take Derek to Egypt. Fan didn’t say where exactly Cheryl was.
Cape Town – and Derek has been spotted with her.

Yes, usually way too much B, particularly since Derek has the better voice – IMO, of course.
As for the airport tweet, a kid tweeted that his dad works at Heathrow and he helped Cheryl and Derek – or escorted them. Said Derek was very nice but “shy”.
When has Derek ever been described as “shy”? LOL!
I was reading through all the random tweets by the few people who saw them in Cape Town (seems to be all Cheryl Cole fans) and this one guy who ran into them described the meeting as “cheryl was lovely. . . him not so much. but i might be biased.” It’s a really small thing, but it made me angry. Everyone who’s written about meeting Derek in person says great things about him. Perhaps Derek gave them time and space to have a fan moment and the male fan took it as something else. I just feel like some CC fans attack Derek for no reason. Just feeling protective right now.
Well, Derek is an introvert so maybe he mistook that as shyness.
As for the male fan – he admitted he was probably biased which is much better than most of the ugly Cheryl fans. I kinda took it as jokey.

I miss BHB because we got to see Derek sing, play the guitar (occasionally the piano and drums), dance with random people in the crowd, and jump off of amplifiers! But I agree with peonies that I thought Mark was more dominating in the songs. But I love their song called “Slip Away” because I actually think Derek sings more in the song than Mark and not too much production so you can actually hear how beautiful and versatile Derek’s voice is. Welcome back! Love all these videos, which I haven’t seen in a while. I miss BHB also: they had a really unique sound and beautiful harmonies. Love Derek’s voice. I’m still waiting for someone to finally offer Derek his own dancing & singing show where he can indulge all his creative talents. I wish I had the money to produce it!
