Outstanding! They make a cute couple. I didn’t get to vote because I had to go to bed to get up early next day for work, but my friends voted. When Derek and Jennifer danced it was 3:00 AM here in Czech Republic. Congrats to Derek and Jennifer for a magnificent start in the competition.
A perfect pairing of talent, spirit, and personality. I think she will learn much from him, and I know he will benefit from the association with someone of her panache and staying power. It proves that in many situations, age difference is not the barrier that some perceive.
What an emotional performance. It was passionate and elegant. I watched their dance with my mom and both of us were very moved by it. Their entire package was touching. I think Jennifer&Derek have a very special connection and it is evident on and off the dancefloor. I absolutely loved their performance! Did you all notice the people in audience, a lot of tears were shed during their dance! Way to go Jennifer and Derek.
