Another Derek and Cheryl Video from the Summertime Ball
This is the one everyone has been looking for – Derek and Cheryl walking off stage hand in hand. Thanks to the 500 people who sent links to this – there is no “you guys” in regard to 99% of the work on the site, just me. 
And I’m out of town on business once again with internet access only at night.
Now, if you guys REALLY want something to do, I’ve heard two rumors that you can prove or disprove for me. I’ll give a prize to the first person to do either or both, if they do it before *I* figure it out for myself. This should be easy, since I’m out of pocket most of the day tomorrow. First rumor: Derek is on his way back to LA as of yesterday (London time, or earlier today US time) – I’m afraid that if you use a london tabloid for this you’ll need corroborating evidence. Second rumor: Derek doing a guest dance on SCD. I don’t need to tell you what this does for my opinion on the validity of “Derek loves Cheryl”. Anyway – random tweets from random people DO NOT COUNT. I need hard core proof – someone from SCD says so with their name attached, someone finds a pic of Derek (before I do) in Los Angeles, or en route.
If Derek guests on Strictly, perhaps it’s to support an appearance by Cheryl? I’d love for her to do Parachute with Derek on DWTS next season.

1. The Sun is batting 0.00 in its predictions about Derek doing Strictly.
2. He has said he would like to do Season 11 of DWTS, which will run almost concurrently with Season 8 of SCD. SCD will have one additional week, which is the most likely time for a guest spot, unless Derek gets a partner who gets eliminated before the finals.
3. The pro spots don’t pay that much, probably well below the cost of round-trip airfare.
4. Wouldn’t Cheryl be the one with more free time between X-Factor TV shows? She can write off the transatlantic airfare to record in L.A. as she has done before and will be doing again shortly.

I love ‘em together. Cheryl is so darling and they make a perfect couple, imo. The photos of her dressed in that gown to get her Glamour Woman of the Year award? Woah.
Oh yah, just watched it again and two things I noticed. . . they were avoiding eye contact with each other usually at that part where they are staring at each other and Cheryl just did not want to let go of Derek at the end even though he wanted her to have the spotlight. Is this the last time they are going to perform together? Maybe she is sad.

LOL! I don’t want to crush your hopes Claire. I think Derek was trying to be professional on stage because there are so many rumors. For the past two weeks(and probably going back to Feb when Cheryl came to see him in LA), he and Cheryl have probably been on the cover of those british tabloids talking about their kama sutra dance, staying at her house, cavorting in Paris. Cheryl’s ex did cheat on her with multiple women, but if Derek and Cheryl are more than friends. . . he is basically hooking up with a married woman. I don’t know how he sees things, but he does have morals and values. I guess we’ll see if this was just a fling and him being supportive to Cheryl or if there is a real relationship underneath it all.
You have to remember that everyone around Derek has commented on how private he is when it comes to his relationships – he’s not normally into PDA. I wouldn’t worry too much about what you see him do in public.
Hmm. . . definitely more than dancing and I do think that Cheryl is definitely into Derek based on her body language outside of their performance. I thought he was holding her hand like he would hold his dance partner’s hand as he leads her off of a dance floor. But that may be because he doesn’t want to add more fuel to the fire. I do think that Derek wants to be discreet considering she is still married and all. But gosh dang it. . they are so darn cute together!

No, that’s the UK version of X factor that she’s getting ready to do. The US version isn’t until next year. She is supposedly heading to LA later in the month to work on her album.
What it means is, if he’s going to the trouble of doing a guest spot on SCD (which airs at about the same time as DWTS) in LONDON, when he will most likely be in LA….well, he must have reason for wanting to be in London more often, eh?
I don’t get it – what does him doing SCD have to do with your opinion of “Derek loves Cheryl”? Maybe I’m so wrapped up in my fantasy world that I’m missing reality – explain!
SweetCharity, I need you to do one of two or three things. Either stop talking with authority about things you can’t know for sure, or explain how you know something for sure. In other words, if you’re going to say something like “He’s home. Got back to LA about 3 hours ago” I’m going to need you to explain how you know that. PROVE it. I don’t want people on this site to believe things that may or may not be true just because someone *I don’t know* says it with authority. We have enough problems with the media without having issues with other fans. And no, the article about him being home won’t work at this point – I’ve seen it too.:-)
I’m not trying to sound snotty, I’m being protective of this site and the people who use it. I also don’t condone stalking, so if that’s what you’re doing, I’d rather not know about it.
The timeline is/was based on paparazzi photos. If you’d rather I didn’t post here, you’ve got it.
To be more clear, we have family in England and have flown that route many times. Most flights from Britain arrive at LAX at either around 4 p.m. or 7-7:30 p.m. The paparazzi photo shows him leaving the Tom Bradley International Terminal past sunset (which was at 8:04 p.m.), meaning he did not come in on the earlier flight but rather one of the flights that got in between 7 and 7:30 p.m. It’s not rocket science.
