The Homestretch!
I’m going to speak on behalf (I think) of many Team DJ fans right now – you’ve made us so proud, Joanna and Derek. You’re in the final four and that is a HUGE accomplishment.
I know Joanna gets so nervous on show day and that’s understandable. But look at it this way, Joanna – you’ve already won. You showed a lot of nay sayers how it’s done and your partnership with Derek is one of the most enjoyable to watch. You made it even farther than I think Derek expected and you’ve gained a whole lot of new fans. What I’m getting at is…relax and have fun and dance. We’ve got your back, and we couldn’t be more proud of you than we are right now. We are going to vote our fingers to the bone on Monday night, so don’t be nervous!! We know you can do it!! We know WE can do it too!! Right everybody?!?!?!

I’m making all my friends (even the ones who never watch, which is most of them) vote all this week and next! DJ has been super-special-awesome all season and deserves to win!!! GOOD LUCK!!! ;D
Nice pep talk! This has truly been a great season. I can’t believe there’s only two weeks left! Once again I’ve been impressed by all Derek has done, and also by Joanna! You can tell that she’s so determined to do her best, and she and Derek are so fun together! Besides actually dancing well (which she does), those are the two best qualities of contestants on the show, in my opinion. And Heidi you are right about her gaining new fans. I had never heard of her pre-DWTS, but I am so glad I know of her now. Her efforts to protect animals is heartwarming and inspiring.
hey does anyone know if Joanna & Derek will be on Ellen on Monday? Joanna tweeted about it but nothing is mentioned on Ellen’s website.. Also love the pep talk I know Joanna & Derek will bring it

Well said Heidi! Derek and Joanna, you two have been amazing this season – it is so much fun to watch you. Derek, I have been a fan of yours since your first appearance on the show as a guest dancer & have always been impressed with your choreography and your ability to bring out the best in every partner, but this season, you have totally outdone yourself. Joanna, you have performed so well and your personality just shines through. I admire your determination and hard work and love your infectious laugh. You two clearly love and respect each other and it is a joy to watch. Good luck Monday – have fun!!! – and we will all be voting like crazy for you.
right on! i couldnt have said it any better. and as nonsense as this sounds. i thought that you guys wouldnt have made it this far. maybe to like week 6 or something but im proud to say that im or i should say WE are very very very honored to be fans and very honored to be the ones supporting you guys through this. like Heidi said, we got your guys’ backs and all you gotta focus on is having fun and doing wat you do best. entertaining and making ppl love you. good luck on mon. Well said Heidi!! I totally agree!! Joanna you’ve been amazing this season and handled all the demands of the show extremely well!! I’ve loved all your dances and am so proud of you especially since you have no dance or performing experience!! Derek puts together amazing dances and you’ve handled them all so well! Definitely have fun tomorrow and don’t worry!!! We do have your back and will vote as much as possible!!
As for Delicious Derek, you always AMAZE me with your talent but I also think you’ve proved what a fantastic teacher you are as well!! GO TEAM DJ!!!!!
Great pep talk Heidi! I totally agree! I am very proud of both of you, you’ve created some very memorable moments on DWTS! Derek your charisma, sense of humor & genius along with Joanna’s elegance, charm, and determination have truly made this an enjoyable season. Joanna, you go girl! Strut your stuff on Monday, as Hedi said, we got your back!
