And Derek’s DWTS 9 Partner is…
…up to you guys to figure out and tell me. There will be a prize (although it may take a couple weeks to receive)! What we will do is draw a name from the people who pick the correct partner. Here are the rules:
- You have to tell me your pick by 9 am EASTERN time tomorrow morning. If by some chance a bunch of partners are revealed between now and then, we’ll have to call it off. I will also call it off if I find out there is a list published already and I’ve been too busy to find it.
- You have to either email me your pick to heidi@purehough.com OR put it in the comments for THIS post. NO Tweeting me!! The twitter is moving too quickly and is too hard to keep good track.
Okay, your choices are listed at PureDWTS. While Derek is out having fun, get those detective skills going and tell me who you think Derek will end up with. Hint: I will be posting profiles of the contestants on PDWTS which will include their age and height – Joanna Krupa is already done.

ETA: I forgot to mention that there are TWO people who could possibly win the prize for the previous partner contest. We won’t know if either of them won until a partner is announced.

I’ve read a couple places that we’ll have to wait until the 24th for the pairings to be announced. Is that actually true? Ughh I hope not, that’s too long! Hopefully some rehearsal pictures will be leaked before that!
They may announce them on the 24th, but we usually find out before the announcement. Usually thanks to an accidental tweet or the paparazzi. Cross your fingers!!

I already read a list of all the pairing somewhere…unless that’s not official! Either way I won’t ruin the contest by saying who was listed with Derek!
It’s probably a wish list – Derek says he won’t find out until Wednesday.
I also wouldn’t use what the celebs say as an indication. The producers started telling the pros a little ahead of time (I don’t know how much) a season or two ago when it got embarrassing because a Pro didn’t recognize their celeb.
I wish I could choose more than one. But my pick is… Mya. Hope I’m right.
