Derek Hough on Twitter
The man has been a twittering maniac today – and I, for one, LOVE IT. 
Anyway, for the one or two people who might not know it already – the real Derek Hough is @OfficialDHough. Don’t buy into imposters – just a word to the wise.
Derek, Mark and Joanna all went to Michael Jackson’s memorial service today, which Derek kindly tweeted about. He also sent this pic of the program:
Between Derek, E! and other celebs, it was almost as good as being there. RIP, MJ.
Derek also continued his on-going tease (intentional or otherwise) about what he and BHB are up to in the studio these days. Derek says “think fusion”. Here’s a pic of Mark in the studio sent by Derek - you can barely see him past the mixing board. At least, I think that’s him.
Now tell me something, people. You all have read Derek’s tweets by now – what is BHB up to? What will their new sound be like? Does anyone have preferences? Me, I just wanna hear Derek’s voice. Tell me in the comments what you think/want/love about BHB.
Thanks for sharing with us, Heidi. Thanks to Derek also for twittering it for us. I group surrounded by Michaels music as well, I was born in the 80’s. I still remember sneaking with my sister into our brothers room to watch a little of Michael’s concerts whenever they left the room for a moment, lol. He was one of our all-time favorite artists, and his music touched many. He will be deeply missed by all.
As for BHB, I want to see them as well. I’ve never had the chance to go to one of their concerts, or meet them in person so that would be my greatest feat of accomplishment of BHB. I also would love to hear Derek sing more, I think that would be great because I can only hear him in the background of a lot of other songs as mark sings in a higher pitch than Derek since they are harmonizing. Derek has a beautiful voice so I hope they showcase it more, and also, I think it would really be great if they incorporate dance choreography into it more. Like Derek said, that’s what they do, lol. He already dances around the stage, why not choreograph some awesome moves for those sexy hips, lol. That, and maybe some really awesome music videos for their songs, I think that would really take the cake. I hope they stop in Georgia again when they tour or something. I think I’ve rambled enough, lol. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
You know, I hadn’t put it together the way you just did!! That they might choreograph actual dance numbers to some of their songs as opposed to Derek getting out there and shaking his (extremely cute) butt. I wonder if they will go in the direction of what they did the last grove show and in Indy – where he and Mark do some old choreography to their rhythm section. That was awesome. Hot.
Yeah, I think I’m down with this idea.
Thanks Heidi for posting memorial booklet for MJ that Derek twitted. Derek/Mark seemed to really love Michael, how emotional this must have been for them. This was very hard for me as well being that I grew in the era of Michael & the Jackson 5. I loved their music and was a big fan. Got to see them in the 80’s. It was a very great/emotional experience that me & my sister will never forget! Thanks again Derek for sharing this beautiful momentum.

What I STILL want is to see/meet them! I’m forever waiting for those “few off shows” that Derek said they’d be doing over the summer, and they should hit all the cities they missed during winter! The Nashville and South Florida areas are still completely BHB-deprived! I love them, but now they’re like pet fish (my friend absolutely laughed her head off at this analogy): They’re very nice to look at (especially Derek), but they’re not doing anything (okay, they’re recording, but still)! lol Sorry, no offense to anyone, but couldn’t resist!
