Okay, even though this topic of who Derek’s next partner should be is kinda old now, just out of curiosity, 1) Who wants to see Derek with a younger partner finally this season? and 2) Even though most of you probably don’t watch Disney Channel, who thinks he should also finally get a Disney star (Julianne and Mark both have)? (I say ‘YES!!!!!’ on both and I have a billion ideas on who it could be.)
Oh! How about Amanda Bynes?! I love her and since he had her TV sister (Jennie on What I Like About You), that’d be awesome! Plus she’s not doing much these days and they’d look adorable!
Yeah, I could see that – and it’s about time Derek gets an athlete with a big fanbase. I think they would look great together if Serena isn’t too tall for him. Oh, this is for pretend – forget the tall comment.
I’d love to see him with Alicia Keys or Christina Milian, I think they would be amazing with Derek. From the list if I had to choose it would be Megan Fox or Alyssa Milano. Halle Berry would probably be amazing as well.
Oh yeah! I’d also wanna put myself! lol But even if I did magically become slightly famous within the next few months, I might be considered too young (but if I was invited I wouldn’t care!).
I chose (someone I know none of you have ever heard of, who is my FAVORITE singer): Aya Hirano. PLEASE no “Who the hell is she?!” or anything like that! It would honestly be a dream come true for me (this is the fantasy partner anyway)! She’s an insanely cute and talented Japanese singer/voice actress. I have plenty of reasons why it’d work out:
1. Even though none of you know her, it’s not like we know most of the stars anyway. Before The Bachelor, she was definitely more famous in America than Melissa. Similar to how Ty had the small but faithful cowboy fans, Aya would have all the American anime fans (like me) voting. And if you look at her filmography and discography (sp?), she’s definitely star quality. I’m pretty sure she isn’t busy either.
2. Before anyone asks, she does know English (but it’d also be cool to hear her and Carrie Ann speak to each other in Japanese)
3. Just look at her! She and Derek would be INSANELY adorable together! They have similar outgoing and fun personalities! He’d also finally have a younger partner.
4. In general, wouldn’t it just be interesting to have a foreign (other than British) star?!

I don’t know how I missed Jessica Alba. She would awesome with Derek. If I remember correctly, she was one of Derek’s picks for a future partner.

She’s 21 now (b-day is Oct. 8 so 22 in the middle of the season if she were to compete in the next one) and I heard 5’2 somewhere.
